•Fallingstar
She-cat •• 24 moons •• Leader •• OceanClan
History ••
Fallingkit -- Kit: Fallingkit was born to Dusksong, and her mother always kept her father's identity a secret. Fallingkit grew up with the question buried in her heart, but didn't voice it since it made Dusksong so upset. She was told that her father died from greencough many moons ago.
Fallingpaw -- Medicine Cat Apprentice: Fallingpaw decided to become a medicine cat when her sixth moon came - she wanted to learn to treat greencough and all other types of disease to, in a way, 'avenge' her father. The current medicine cat, a dark tabby tom named Hawkfeather taught her for a few moons until one day, when they were out gathering herbs, Fallingpaw fell into a river. Diving in to save her, Hawkfeather nearly drowned himself. He saved his apprentice, but the river's current caught him again after he had placed the sandy-colored apprentice on the shore. He thought he was going to die at one point, and called Fallingpaw over to tell her the truth. The only problem was, Hawkfeather didn't die. Fallingpaw was furious, and refused to keep learning as a medicine cat. She felt betrayed, having chosen her path for life because of a father that she had been lied to about.
Fallingpaw -- Warrior's Apprentice: Fallingpaw was apprenticed to a senior warrior named Nightwhisker, and she learned well. That is, learned her fighting skills well. She only did other things when she had to, and would always trade hunting patrols for border ones with fellow apprentices until she was forbidden to. Fallingpaw trained every spare second she had to prove herself a good fighter, and because she loved it so much. (See personality)
Fallingfeather -- Warrior: Fallingfeather was made a warrior, and no cat could have been prouder than she was when she finally moved into the warrior's den. She hadn't forgotten the four moons of training as a medicine cat apprentice, but at times she wished she had never had them since most cats disapproved of a medicine cat becoming a warrior, especially one who's father was a medicine cat to begin with.
Fallingfeather -- Deputy: Fallingfeather was made deputy when she stood up to her leader one day when battle was prominent. She suggested a completely different plan than her leader had in mind, but it turned out that it was perfect. She fought incredibly well, and when OceanClan's deputy was killed, she took his place.
Fallingstar -- Leader: Fallingstar is a relatively new leader, having only recieved her name four moons ago. She strives to be the best leader she can, so that her name can be added to those of the famous warriors that elders meow to kits in exchange for a piece of fresh-kill. Someday, she wants kits of her own, though she knows it would be impossibly hard to do so when she has so many duties as a leader. She enjoys working, so the burden of leading a clan is nothing for her, and she is loyal to OceanClan to the death.
Appearance ••
Fallingstar is a slightly smaller than average she-cat. She has a semi-long sandy-cream colored fur with white patches, and darker, tabby streaks highlighting her pelt. Her eyes are a misty, lighter colored green, that are always sparkling with some kind of emotion. She can tell you nothing or everything through her eyes, and sometimes they can seem like they're reading your thoughts and piercing your soul. Her left ear has a small scar, a little lighter colored than her normal fur, ending in a tiny rip near the top. It's not very noticable, but if you look you can see it.
Personality ••
Fallingstar is a quiet she-cat, never the first to strike up a conversation nor the one to protest the loudest. But when you get to know her better, you find that although she speaks little, when she does what she says is always worth hearing. For someone who doesn't know her, Fallingstar will seem very shy at first, and perhaps even timid, but if you are kind to her and willing to converse, she will open up to you gradually.
Fallingstar is quiet but firm. She isn't easily insulted, you can call her everything from a stuck up piece of foxdung to sarcastically a genius without having the smallest effect on her. But tease one of her friends or family and she'll have you in shreds within heartbeats. The only other way to get to her is by suggesting she is dishonest or disloyal. Once you have made an enemy of Fallingstar, your position in her mind is hardly ever reversable. She is never loud about her dislikes, but always placidly keeps her grudges but someday will wreck her revenge. But the same thing applies to her friends - if you were once Fallingstar's friend and are upset with her and start to ignore her, she'll try her best to talk to you, apologize, or even change some of herself - once you've made it into the cream-colored leader's heart, you don't slip out again.
Fallingstar is also good at retaliating with words, and her manner of speaking emphasizes this further. Since she hardly speaks, she doesn't comment when her remark seems even close to unneeded. But if she chooses to, she can let fly a string of clever insults that can leave almost anyone standing awkwardly, groping for a suitable reply.
Fallingstar is and has always been a fighter, and not so much one for hunting or stalking. Ever since she was an apprentice, she has been working to prove herself (see history) worthy of a warrior name. But she always found her paws padding to the training grounds, found that her heart was at ease and her mind at rest when she was feigning leaps and raking her claws down another's back. She felt herself when she was fighting, and so she spent all of her free time practicing. She was so good that the OceanClan leader and her mentor dismissed her futile hunting and stalking attempts and made her a warrior because of her battle ability. Fallingstar has come up with various new techniques that she has taught to her clan, and when not doing physical training she exercises her mind by thinking up battle plans, etc. But despite all of her warfare planning, she is a peaceful leader, and tries her very best not to use her skills when not absolutely necessary.
Fallingstar loves to watch sunsets, and can often be found staring at the place the sun used to be long after it had disappeared below the far horizon, long after the pink had faded from the dark blue sky and long after silverpelt's last stars had come twinkling and sparkling into the night. Fallingstar loves the rain and snow, and doesn't mind getting her paws wet.
Fallenstar would like a mate from a different clan, and it would be interesting if it was a leader because then both sides are equally wrong, but other positions are fine, too. Preferably no medicine cats, and nobody younger than 22moons.
